Post Natal Strength
I have noticed a lot of changes in my body while attending all the different classes they have to offer. When I started coming to Flex I was on 5 blood pressure meds. I have been able to drop down to 3 meds which I attribute to the total body and mind health focused environment and class structure. I have also noticed a significant improvement in my sleep patterns. My body shape has changed as well, I was at a 38" waist and am down to a 33"-34" waist, adding lean muscle and burning fat.
These workouts allow me to not only continue, but do the things I love with greater ease. Hiking, hunting, playing with my kids and children, and just being active with really no limitations. While my shoulder is still recovering from surgery I notice greater range of motion, stability and less pain.
Down 45 pounds and the best is yet to come!
Her guidance aligned perfectly with what I heard from my physical therapist. After almost five months of attending Flex I can say that I feel stronger, and more flexible and agile than I have in most of my adult years. The difference in my core between my first class and now is significant. Even the little cues in class given that bring awareness to engaging all parts of the core are absolutely critical to protecting the back and rebuilding strength and core integrity.

I am so happy I stepped outside of my comfort zone and checked out Flex. The coaches are incredibly encouraging and supportive while the workouts keep me mentally engaged and physically challenged.

The last two months at the gym have been so incredible. I never thought I would enjoy waking up to go to the gym, but now I look forward to it every day. They have taught me that eating healthy does not have to be boring and being healthy can be fun. They have helped me change my life in such great ways and I can not wait to see what the future holds. I lost 25# in 6 weeks and the best is still to come.
